Programs
This cheer program is a feeder into the Science Hill High School Toppers Cheer squads. We have many events with the cheer coaches and cheerleaders at Science Hill. The cheerleaders will cheer at the youth Toppers football games. Tackle football is now with the Watauga League so we will have to travel for a few games. Traveling for at least one game will be required for coaches and athletes. We will host 3-4 games at Kermit Tipton.
Practices begin the week of July 20th. Practices will be on Tuesday or Wednesday. Coaches will contact you with information regarding practice days and times. Games start mid-August and will be on Saturdays.
Participants will be placed with the City Elementary School team where the participant attends school or the City Elementary School district in which they reside. Any participant that does not go to or live within a City Elementary School district will be placed at the discretion of the Athletics staff.
All uniforms, bows and pompoms will be provided. Participants are responsible for cheer shoes and black spanx shorts.
The fee is $50 for Johnson City residents and $60 for non-city residents.
Any refunds will contain a $10 service charge. No refunds will be given once games start.

This program is open to RISING grades K-1st as of August 15, 2026. Please select the grade your child will be in for the upcoming school year.
